Winter Funland is back for 2022! The ultimate weather-proof winter wonderland bring festive magic to Manchester and the Midlands.

With a massive ice-skating rink, a 1,200-seater Christmas extravaganza circus show featuring dare-devil caged motorcycle drivers and tightrope walkers and unlimited rides at a full-size fairground, Winter Funland is set to be the definitive festive day out for all the family.
Officially the UK’s largest indoor funfair and covering 250,000 square foot, the Winter Funland spectacular opens at BEC Arena Trafford Park in Manchester and NEC Birmingham this year from Saturday 10th December and runs until Monday 2nd January 2023.
With over 40 thrilling rides and a traditional circus, toddlers (and bigger kids!) will also love meeting the main man himself, Father Christmas, over in the dedicated Santa’s Grotto as well as the chance to get creative over in a Christmas craft area.
Alongside mischievous elves bringing lots of fun all over the venue, there’s also a festive sweet and savoury food and drink market serving up tasty street food and mulled wine.
This year, as a response to the cost of living crisis, the organisers have set aside 2,000 tickets for registered charities to bring children and their families, staff, and carers to join local celebrities and sporting stars at the exclusive VIP opening event.
There will also be two special sensory sessions for families with children who have autism on Monday 12th December in Birmingham where lighting and noise will be reduced and the circus will feature assisted performances where audiences will be provided with explanations of what will happen before each act. Visits to Santa need to be booked in advance via the website.
