Newbie’s first collection for mothers and little ones is finally here. Capture Spring is the collection we’ve all been waiting for; beautiful hand-drawn floral prints, exquisite embroidery, stylish cuts in sustainable materials and the dreamiest matching dresses that are perfect for summer.
Newbie, the cult sustainable Swedish childrenswear brand which launched 10 years ago in Stockholm, first arrived in the UK in 2017 has become a staple in lots of little wardrobes. What started out as a small collection of 12 products quickly became an international brand built by a community of customers, known today as ‘Newbie Lovers’.
Newbie has always believed in timeless, sustainable and affordable design. In a recent interview with Newbie’s Brand Manager, Anne-Charlotte Lindquist, she shared that the design team are very much inspired by old Swedish photography, wallpaper prints, and cherished fairy tales. Collections are always built around a story and the colour pallets and patterns are designed in a way so that one season can be worn with the next.
For the brand’s designers, sustainability isn’t only about the materials used, but the garment’s life cycle. Their design approach has been developed to create garments that won’t age and that can be passed down and loved by generation after generation. The voucher cannot be gifted and must be used within two months of the activation date.
