Barbados-based Elegant Hotels Group has collaborated with personalised gift brand My 1st Years to launch a new seven-night, all-inclusive package, My 1st Vacation.
Available from November, My 1st Vacation has been designed for families with pre-schoolers to offer a first holiday experience like no other. Available at Elegant’s three award-winning family properties, Tamarind, Crystal Cove and Turtle Beach.
The all-inclusive My 1st Vacation package caters to families the moment their feet touch Bajan soil with a private two-way transfer to and from the airport. Once you’ve arrived, a My 1st Year welcome gift with personalised bag, teddy and hooded towel will be waiting for little guests in their room, as well as a cookie and welcome drink at check-in.
Plus, no beach holiday would be complete without a bucket and spade and the hotel’s beach care package will see that they have all the essentials to build sandcastles galore.
Children aged three and over will also revel in the Flying Fish Kids Club, with a wealth of activities on offer such as sand art, jewellery crafts, T-shirt-making and more. Be sure to enjoy some downtime, too, though, as new for 2020 is a weekly story-time session for families to hear stories that inspire and depict the Caribbean lifestyle.
The My 1st Vacation experience will also offer parents the chance to take a few nights off with a complimentary babysitting service, between 7-9pm, giving grown-ups the chance to enjoy dinner at one of the property’s exquisite restaurants. Terms and conditions: All Participants must be 18 years of age or older. The following are Disqualified Persons:(i) All Elegant Hotels Group employees, all employees of participating sponsors or promoters and/or advertising agencies and their immediate families.(ii) Persons under 18 years of age. Entry into the competition is deemed to be acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and confirmation that the participant meets the requirement set out in clause “2”.
Prize: There is one prize. The winner will receive a seven night all-inclusive stay in an entry level room at Tamarind Hotel. Fine wines and champagne will be at an additional cost. The room will accommodate two adults and one child under the age five (5) years.Two complimentary babysitting sessions between the hours of 7:00pm -9:00pm will be provided.
Transportation to facilitate transfers to and from Barbados International Airport and the Tamarind Hotel will be included. The prize does not include travel fare, travel insurance and a government tourism fee. The winner of the prize is solely responsible for providing comprehensive travel insurance including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property. A government tourism fee is payable on arrival at the Hotel and is not included as part of the prize.
The prize winner is responsible for meals, drinks, activities and entertainment not included in the All Inclusive offering. The prize excludes spending money, insurance, taxes, incidentals and other ancillary costs.
The winner of the prize must have valid documentation including but not limited to valid passports and visas which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at each port of entry.
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred should the winner of the prize be refused entry into the country of the holiday destination. The winner of the prize is responsible for notifying the Promoter if their contact details have changed prior to redeeming the prize. The prize is subject to availability and is non-negotiable, non-transferable, has no cash value and must be taken as stated.
Dates of stay are only valid for the period of 1 May to December 15,2020 with Blackout dates applying. No other family members, friends or any other person will be able to redeem the prize on the winner’s behalf. If the winner of the prize is, for whatever reason, unable to travel to the Hotel destination during the specified period for redemption, whether the failure was due to reasons beyond the Winner’s control or otherwise, then the Winner will forfeit the prize. There is no alternative to the prize stated and the prize must be accepted by the named winner.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and the Hotel accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the participant (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. The decision is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Barbados and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados without application of conflicts of laws principles.
