The winners of this year’s Smith Hotel Awards were announced last night at glitzy ceremony at Bankside Vaults, with Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in Fiji carrying off the crown on the night.

Runner-ups the Marbella Club in Spain and Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley in the Blue Mountains, Australia, also wowed the judges with the unique and well-rounded activities on offer.
