Silver Cross has made its London Fashion Week debut as two bespoke Balmoral prams hit the runway at Ryan Lo.
As we all know, some pushchair brands are a cut above the rest. While many compete for the top spot in terms of usability, value for money and comfort for your little one. Others are focused on style, as well as substance. And Silver Cross has definitely won in the style stakes this week.
British brand Silver Cross made a surprise appearance on the runway during London Fashion Week, starring in Ryan LO’s AW19 show.
Stealing the show in Moon Lake Serenade – LO’s sequel to his fairy tale love story from last year – three Silver Cross coach prams were given a fashion week overhaul.
Each Balmoral pram was given the unique Ryan LO touch, using beautiful quilted fabrics and roses.
Speaking about using the prams in his show, LO explained: “I think it was quite relevant for the current time as we’re expecting a royal baby and Silver Cross is the Royal family’s brand of choice, so I thought why not!”
We couldn’t agree more.
Giving some more insight into the collaboration, Silver Cross Brand Manager David Abbott revealed: “We share Ryan LO’s passion for beautiful craftsmanship and loved how he added his own unique twist to our heritage designs.
“Each Balmoral coach pram is handmade in Yorkshire and is an icon of British design. To see it on the runway at London Fashion Week was a special moment.”
