There’s a new Royal Baby in town as Princess Eugenie has given birth to a baby boy. And his name is VERY cute.
Princess Eugenie, 30, and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on 9th February 2021.
Now, after two weeks of much speculation over the new royal’s baby name, the princess and her husband have revealed their chosen moniker, and it’s really quite adorable.
Eugenie and Jack have chosen then names August Philip Hawke Brooksbank for their son.
Taking to Instagram, Eugenie wrote: “We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
“Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express.”
The new mum also took to Instagram Stories to share the meaning behind baby August Philip’s name.
She wrote: “On his grandfather’s birthday weekend, thinking about my grandfather, we are introducing our little boy.
“He is named after his great grandfather and both of his great x5 grandfathers.”

Buckingham Palace confirmed news of the new arrival in a statement reading: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital. Jack Brooksbank was present.
“The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz.
“The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news.
“This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York’s first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

The baby weighs 8lbs 1oz.
