Do you feel pressured to wean baby on homemade food?

Research has revealed many parents feel pressured and judged when it comes to how they choose to wean their baby

Research by My First Savsé, Europe’s first ever cold-pressed baby food brand, has revealed a shocking 71% of parents questioned – almost three quarters – claimed they felt ‘judged’ by other parents for not weaning their baby on homemade food, with one in four saying they simply didn’t have the time to prepare homemade food due to work pressures.

Additionally, it turns out getting enough fruit and veg into their child’s diet is the third greatest parenting challenge, just behind getting them to sleep and potty training. The most popular technique of persuasion included pretending the spoon is a train, making airplane noises, and promising a treat if baby eats their greens.

Guka, Founder and CEO of My First Savsé, comments; ‘We recognise that parents want the best for their child and they should never have to compromise on convenience or quality. We created My First Savsé so that parents could provide their child with all the nutritional benefits and goodness of homemade, with the practicality and ease of shop-bought baby food.”

Almost nine in ten parents say they’re more health conscious when buying food for their babies. Recognising this, My First Savsé’s pouches offer busy parents a nutritious, 100% organic and completely natural baby food that’s just as good as homemade. Suitable from four months, the ingredients are cold-pressed using non-thermal High Pressure Processing (HPP) to ensure all the goodness and tastiness is locked inside. Its seven flavours include cucumber, kiwi, kale and spinach and coconut and cacao.
