Schools were just beginning to return after the second lockdown when nominations opened for Independent School Parent’s fourth Independent Schools of the Year awards campaign last year.
Over the previous 12 months they had been closed twice and school life as we knew it had been turned upside down. And yet independent schools rose to the challenge: providing a full curriculum, including a plethora of extracurricular activities and school trips online.
