Bastion of the British high street Mothercare has revealed their collaboration with international fashion designer Julien Macdonald OBE.
The collection, ‘Smile’, is designed for newborns and babies up to the age of two, and features practical yet unique designs for day-to-day wear as well as special occasions. The collection includes jersey pieces with animal character prints and playful slogans, as well as an occasionwear selection perfect for parties, all of which have Julien’s signature attention to detail with beautiful, high quality materials.
“I have such a passion for the design of children’s clothes so to collaborate with Mothercare is very exciting,” said Julien. “My fabulous designs combine both luxurious fabrics with delicate detailing as well as some gorgeous characters to make children smile. The collection features classic newborn pieces, sprinkled with unique touches and playful attention to detail. The entire Smile collection has been lovingly put together for Mothercare’s customers.”
The collection will be available in 70 of Mothercare’s stores from April 20th, with prices ranging from £10 up to £50.
