Louise Redknapp has revealed her longing for a third baby despite fertility issues
Louise Redknapp and footballer-turned-pundit husband Jamie have spoken of their wish for a third baby, with Jamie longing to add a girl to their brood. Parents to sons Charley, 11, and Beau, seven, the couple previously had trouble conceiving due to Louise’s endometriosis diagnosis.
Speaking during a chat about her new partnership with Mecca Bingo, Louise, 41, said, ‘It’s definitely something that we’ve spoken about and we’ll see what the future brings,’ she explained. ‘I couldn’t sit here and say, “I would absolutely love to have another child” or “I’m going to have another child” because I don’t know if that would ever happen.
Endometriosis is a common condition where tissue that behaves like the lining of the womb is found outside of the organ. Estimated to affect around 2 million women in the UK, it can impact one’s ability to fall pregnant, with some not being able to conceive at all.

“If it doesn’t happen then I’m more than happy with my two boys and I couldn’t have even dreamed of having them – 13 or 14 years ago I never thought that would be possible. To have two boys now is incredible, to have another one of course would be amazing.’
Louise, formally a star of 90s girl band Eternal, has congratulated fellow pop star Geri Horner who, at the age of 44, has announced she is pregnant with her second child. “I’m so pleased that she’s 44 and she’s having another baby – good for her,’ she told MailOnline.’I think that should give a lot of women such a boost, to think: “We’re entitled to go and have children up until whatever age we feel fit.”
Currently participating in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, Louise has relished the opportunity to introduce her children to music and dance. ‘Now he [her son] comes home and we’re all dancing and I’m trying to teach them my routines, Jamie can’t believe it. I’ve got a fight on my hands if I want to teach the boys to do any form of dancing, I think.’
