The Little London and Baby London Launch Party

3

Was there a glam mama or papa in London who didn’t attend our launch party at Kensington Roof Gardens last week? From the bustling crowds of smiling faces and toddling tots, it looks unlikely…

The sun was shining and Kensington Roof Gardens were decked out with the finest decorations from Party Pieces: balloons, pom poms, dotty children’s plates and everybody’s favourite inflatable flamingos.

Our guests were greeted with Bucks Fizz, coffees, pastries and fruit skewers but it was the little ones who had bigger treats in store, from towers of marshmallows and Crunchy Creaturz to the tastiest treats from La Di Dah Cupcakes and even our very own Little London BKD London biscuits!

That was just the icing on the (La Di Dah) cupcake though. Maggie & Rose had set up camp-offering all sorts of treats for our smallest of guests. Maggie Bolger herself was there to oversee proceedings and our very own Baby London cover girl Florence Ward was particularly enamoured with their mask playtime and children’s passport photos. She’s currently booking her first trip around the world, we’re told.

Over on the lawn Sharkey and George were busy keeping everyone big and small happy with huge parachutes, inflatable balls and bubbles as far as the eye could see.  For budding style mavens, Little Bu provided mini manicures that went down a storm: especially with Adelle from BKD London’s little boy who made a bold statement with his pink polish.

Our Little London columnist, MyBaba’s Leonora Bamford was particularly impressed and chatted away to Pink Lining’s Charlotte Pearl as our super-mum-of-eight Noreen Goodwin made an appearance and The Times’s Tom Whipple made the most of his paternity leave and took baby Felix to his very first party. Felix: we’re honoured.
