Katie Piper, the philanthropist, TV presenter and author, has teamed up with friend and entrepreneur TerriAnn Nunns to launch a diet, fitness and lifestyle ‘mum-manual’. The Healthy Happy Mum Plan includes advice from both women on parenting, mindfulness, diet and exercise, with Katie losing two stone on the plan since the birth of her second daughter in December last year.
The diet plan is based on a 16:8 eating rule, which sees you consumer 1,500 calories within an eight hour window. Best thing of all, it doesn’t restrict any food groups, and you can allocate yourself a treat day each week where you’re allowed an extra 300 calories.
Designed to help mums get back to looking and feeling their best, the guide provides hints, tips and anecdotes on all things post-pregnancy, as well as mindful eating and easy-to-follow home workouts. It includes a bulletproof dietician-approved programme with delicious recipes for the whole family, from poppyseed pancakes to chicken noodle soup and spinach and lentil curry.
