What prompted you to start your Instagram profile?
My sister Alex encouraged me – her Instagram profile @thefrugality is amazing, I’m very proud of her. It’s a good way to capture memories, too. I love scrolling back and seeing how much Rocco has changed.
You share the many lovely corners of your home – do you have a passion for interiors?
I’ve always loved interiors, and Instagram inspires me a lot. I’m very into white, I dream of a really minimal home one day but I’m not sure that will ever happen!
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I love Hay, The White Company for bedding, H&M Home, and I’m an Ikea addict. Plus @scoutandcokids, @bon_tot and @scandiminis are all amazing for kids’ clothes and accessories.
Who else do you follow on Instagram?
I love so many; @dhowelldesigns for her stunning white home, @coral.atkinson for her creative photography and @_shelleyloves has the kind of family life I hope we will have one day.
What is the key to taking a good photo?
I admit to removing any clutter, and though I usually take snaps on my iPhone, I have recently started using my Olympus PEN E-PL8, and it makes such a difference.
How’s the new nursery coming along for your impending arrival?
She will have Rocco’s old nursery, so it’s back to all-white walls. I’ve added a Numero 74 powder pink canopy over the cot and lots of natural baskets and wooden shelving. I’m loving the girly touches [Baby Olivia was born in mid-December].
