Author, actor and mum Giovanna Fletcher has teamed up with Emirates to create an exclusive set of family holiday milestone cards
Your first holiday with baby is usually a trip filled with exciting new experiences – from splashing in the sea, going on boat trips, meeting new friends and building sandcastles on the beach.
And with reports 43 per cent of babies have already been on their first flight by the age of one, Giovanna Fletcher has teamed up with Emirates to create a limited-edition set of holiday milestone cards for families.

With ten colourfully-illustrated cards in each pack, the set encourages parents to mark the big milestones of their first holiday as a family, from ‘first meal in a new country’ and ‘first dip in the pool’, to ‘first holiday bedtime story’.

The launch comes as the actress and author prepares to give birth to her third child in just a few weeks. “With baby number three almost here, I’ve been thinking about all those special milestone moments that are in store,” Giovanna says.
“I’ve seen so many lovely pics on social media of the cute cards marking first teeth, first steps and first day at school that I wanted to try that, but do something a little different.”
“That’s why I’m delighted to have partnered with Emirates to create a set of family holiday milestone cards that celebrate everything, from first flight to first splash in the sea. I can’t wait to try them out on our first holiday as a family of five in a few months’ time,” she adds.

There’s no doubt that the limited-edition set will be a popular one for parents, too, as a survey by Emirates revealed that 20 per cent of British children have been to five countries before starting school.
The top favourite ‘holiday firsts’ parents most look forward to include watching them make their first holiday friend, visiting their first theme park and having their first meal up in the air.
