The UK’s top shopping event for new and expectant parents is back for another year – and here’s five reasons why you should be there

The Baby Show is returning to Olympia London this October from the 19th to the 21st, ready and waiting to offer help, advice and plenty of baby buys to new and expectant parents.

  1. You’ll get to try, compare and buy

If you’re new to this parenting malarkey, all the gadgets and gear that comes with a baby can be somwewhat overwhelming when you don’t know your stuff. But, you can rest assured; the UK’s largest selection of buggies, prams and car seats will be on display at the show, where you can compare different brands and even walk away with the goods if you reckon you’ve found the one.

  1. Listen to an exciting line-up of speakers

There’s a scheduled line-up over the three days of expert speakers and even celebrity appearances, offering advice on everything from sleep, birth and breastfeeding to weaning, health and wellbeing. Experts so far confirmed include Lucy Shrimpton, The Sleep Nanny, infant learning expert, Dr Robert Titzer and midwife, Lesley Gilchrist.

  1. Confidential advice and support

If it’s confidential advice you’re after, experts will be on hand throughout the show to answer your questions on a one-to-one basis in the Experts area, sponsored by My Expert Midwife. The British Red Cross will also be running their hugely popular workshops on essential life-saving first aid skills for baby. And, the NCT will be on hand to provide antenatal and postnatal classes, jam-picked with info and advice.

  1. Demos and catwalks on the main stage

Returning to the main stage will be demos from the UK’s top buggy and fashion brands, showcasing new product innovations, demo and catwalk shows with the latest styles for babies, toddlers and mums and dads.

  1. No need to struggle to the car with all your purchases

Emma’s Diary will be providing their Shop & Drop Collect by Car service so you can easily drop off your purchases throughout the day and save the struggle to the car once it’s time to leave!

The Baby Show, the UK’s leading pregnancy and parenting event, runs from three days – Friday 19th – Sunday 21st October and is open from 10 am until 5.30pm each day.
