Emma Willis, presenter extraordinaire, former model and mother of three, has added another string to her bow by teaming up with Next.
Emma Willis has created an edit of her favourite pieces – from tunics to tailoring – just in time for summer. Speaking to the retailer, she reveals all about her personal style, female empowerment and the best things about the summer season…
Emma Willis on her Fashion Edit
- “Espadrilles are my favoruite summer staple. You never know if it will rain or be war – espadrilles cover both. I also love a shirt dress.”
- “My three favourite pieces are the green tiger print beach shirt, the VACAY espadrilles which I absolutely love and the khaki satin shirt dress.”
Emma on Power Dressing
- “I think a suit gives me the most power – I mean, I don’t know if it actually does but wearing one makes me feel comfortable and confident. A suit makes me feel fabulous.”
- “I think there’s a lot of pressure to be individual and look different… It’s not important to me to feel individual but more to trust my gut and to feel like me in it.”
Emma on Summer Fashion
- “My everyday look during summer in London is jeans, cause you never know what’s gonna happen with the weather.”
- “I am 100% a bikini gal. But there’s some really nice swimsuits around at the minute, so if I’m going swimming with my kids at home I always wear a swimsuit, but if I’m on holiday – always a bikini.”
- “When it comes to trends, I love a lot of the pastel colours that are around at the moment.”
- “My packing essentials include a bikini, beach shirt, denim shorts, sandals, sun dress, sunglasses, a hat, a jumpsuit, espadrilles and a good sunscreen!”
- “When I go to a summer event, I much prefer to be in a dress. I know I wear a lot of tailoring, suits and trousers, but when it’s summer, even if it’s hot or not, it feels like it’s suddenly okay to get your legs out and you’re not going to freeze.”
