With Red Nose Day due to take place on Friday 15 March, Comic Relief and Disney have teamed up to release a range of T-shirts to raise funds for the charity. Now available in TK Maxx, we took a look at this year’s fabulous designs…
Comic Relief’s new T-shirts are Here, and This Time They’ve Teamed up With Disney
The last Red Nose Day in 2017 raised a record-breaking £82million, which is why even bigger things are expected for this year’s spectacular event.
Among this year’s fundraising initiatives are a climb up Kilimanjaro by nine celebrities, an over-24-hour danceathon by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daley, and a 24-hour ‘LOL-a-thon’ with Radio 1.
However, one of the most highly anticipated aspects of Red Nose Day is always its T-shirt designs, which are sold in TK Maxx every year to help raise funds for the charity.
The great news is the high-street retailer is once again getting on board with Comic Relief’s 2019 campaign for the 14th year running, with the new designs now on sale in stores across the UK, as well as in HomeSense.
Better yet, these exclusive T-shirts have also been designed in collaboration with Disney, so you can expect to see a few of your favourite film and TV characters featured within the range, too, including Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore.
And it’s not just T-shirts; this year, TK Maxx and HomeSense will also be selling limited-edition prints, A5 notebooks, aprons, tote bags, tea towels and water bottles, plus pyjama sets for women.
T-shirts for kids range from aged two to 12 years, and at least £2.50 from each sale will go to the cause, with larger priced items like the multicolour Peter Blake print – starring Mickey himself – contributing at least £900.
