Captain America actor Chris Evans has defended Daniel Craig after Piers Morgan mocked the James Bond star for wearing a baby carrier.
The Good Morning Britain presenter branded Daniel Craig an “emasculated Bond” for carrying his daughter Ella in a papoose.

Hitting back, Marvel’s Chris Evans tweeted: “You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child.
“Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside.”
Piers’ suggestion that a father carrying his baby in public is emasculating has prompted dads everywhere to send the GMB host their own pictures of them wearing papooses.

Sharing a picture to Twitter, one dad wrote: “My wife carried my son for 37 weeks. I proudly carried him around the block” While someone else said: “I loved wearing my baby. Fancy a dad enjoying being close to his child!”
Another dad tweeted: “The yard wasn’t going to rake itself, Piers”.
“I also cook, clean, do laundry, tuck the kids in, wash them, read to them, do homework with them, hold them when they are sad and laugh with them when they joke,” one dad replied. “I’m not as much of a looker as Daniel Craig, but I’m happy i’m in good company.”
“I’ve seldom been happier in my life than when walking around with my babies strapped to me. What a loss for you that you’re too much of a man to be a dad,” another added.
He’s not carrying it, that’s my point. He’s using an emasculating papoose.
James Bond would never use a papoose to carry his babies. https://t.co/6aZZSFUEjy— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 15, 2018
Even The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil waded in, saying: “Empathy icon Piers Morgan strikes again! Just when you think he’s reached peak goon, he outdoes himself once more.
“How fragile can your ‘masculinity’ be if it can be dismantled by a cloth that allows you to hold your baby and be able to use both hands? Sounds pretty Bond to me!”
Here’s hoping James Bond is equipped with a papoose in the next film to show just how bad ass baby carriers really are…
