Stacey Solomon, Anna Williamson and a whole of host of our fave celebrities are taking part in a Secret Santa with a difference to support Action for Children.
Christmas is just around the corner and while you may be busy stocking up on presents for your baby’s first Christmas or mulling over how to survive the festive period pregnant, it’s important to remember those who need a little extra love and support at Christmas. Action for Children is a charity working to ensure all children across the UK feel safe and happy, and this year they’ve called in some famous faces to help.
Secret Santa is a popular way of giving presents at Christmas, but it often results in unthoughtful and ultimately unwanted gifts. Instead, this year Action for Children are giving people the option to give a gift with meaning, by purchasing a stylish celebrity inspired t-shirt or jumper of their choice. In doing so they will be raising vital funds for the vulnerable children and young people the charity supports.
They are launching a series of charity t-shirts and jumpers with celebrity supporters including ambassador Larry Lamb, AJ Odudu, and Sophie Hinchliffe (aka Mrs Hinch). Other stars supporting the campaign include Lisa Snowdon, Sabrina Washington, and Eyal Booker.
As a charity, Action for Children works to ensure all children across the UK feel safe and happy, providing services which allow them to step in to help when times get tough. Christmas should be a magical period, spending time with family and exchanging presents, but for thousands of children across the UK this will not be the case. Some will be waking up on Christmas Day homeless, others living with domestic violence or suffering from abuse and neglect, whilst many will be going hungry.
Here’s how you can help
Action for Children’s Secret Santa t-shirts and jumpers are available to purchase from £19 at www.actionforchildrenshop.com.
