Baby Chanco and her enviable mane first rose to fame last year when she was six months old after her parents set up an Instagram accound (@babychanco) which they describe as her ‘hair diary’.

The Instagram page quickly garnered a lot of attention and amassed a huge following, thanks to Chanco’s ability to grow more hair in six months than most of us can manage in a lifetime. Now, all that ‘gramming has paid off, as she’s landed a professional modelling job.

“I’m so surprised with the reaction, but also very proud of the praise from many countries,” Chanco’s mum told the publication.

She went on to explain that although she’ll never cut her daughter’s hair (we don’t blame her) Kano has big plans to try out some new styles in the future, “I prefer to keep her hair long, and in the future I want to try some new arrangements, like braids.”
