Founder of Sleepyhead, Lisa Furuland Kotsianis has unveiled her latest invention – stylish bassinet brand, Aristot, which is now available at Harrods
If you thought it was impossible to fall in love with a bassinet, just take a look at Aristot’s stylish creations and think again. The brand launched exclusively with Harrods in the spring, and is already taking the baby world by storm.
Founded by Lisa Furuland Kotsianis, the brains behind bestselling baby lounger Sleepyhead, Aristot combines form, beauty, functionality and versatility, using only the finest materials in all its designs.
“Much like when I designed the very first Sleepyhead, my goal when designing Aristot was to set a new standard in luxury design for a juvenile product,” Lisa explains. “Exclusively handmade for ultra-chic families, Aristot brings high design and artisan craft-making into the nursery.”
She says she had the idea after her first child was born, and was unable to find the perfect product to fit his needs. “Parents shouldn’t have to compromise on design and aesthetics when bringing baby home. All pieces should seamlessly coordinate with and enhance the family home.”
With interchangeable pedestals and bassinets in a variety of finishes, the collection also allows style-conscious parents to mix and match their bassinet to suit their own interiors.
Each design is also made with velvet fabrics and eco leather-look materials, which are both easy to clean and easy on the eye.
Better yet, these handmade pieces are also designed to be transformed into a table or stool once baby has grown, so it’s yours to keep for years to come.
Prices start from £1,200 for the Carrera Marble Bassinet and Dondalo base, with conversion pieces available separately. Available exclusively at Harrods. Find out more at aristot.com
