Princess Beatrice is pregnant! The Royal Family has confirmed the happy news that another royal baby is on the way.
The Royal Family has announced that Princess Beatrice is pregnant. Taking to their Twitter account, a representative confirmed the happy news with the following statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are . . . expecting a baby in autumn of this year. The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo got married in July 2020 and Beatrice is already step mother to Edoardo’s son, affectionately nicknamed Wolfie. The new baby will be the couple’s first child together, and will take the position of eleventh in line to the throne.
Princess Beatrice’s baby will be the Queen’s twelfth great-grandchild, after Prince Harry and Meghan’s second child is born this summer.
This is welcome news to lift the spirits of the Royal Family, who are still mourning the loss of Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, who died in April 2021.
